HUD properties were all but extinct several years ago. Today, as a result of the huge resurgence of FHA insured loans combined with an increase in FHA insurance limits, HUD properties are readily available throughout the USA.  These are the easiest foreclosures to buy and most investors are not paying any attention to them!
